Praise for ‘The Wild Swan’….

“Equal parts Van Morrison and Ray Lamontagne, Vance is in possession of one of music’s most remarkable voices”  **** Evening Standard

“A rootsy mix of campfire anthems (‘Unlike Any Other’), choogling boogie (‘Upbeat Feelgood’), and acoustic shuffles (‘Coco’), The Wild Swan oozes downhome authenticity” **** Q

“The Wild Swan echoes both John Hiatt’s gnarled, R&B-rooted wit and Van Morrison’s lyrical mystic flights while developing Vance’s own” Mojo

“Vance comes storming out of the blocks with the opening track ‘Noam Chomsky Is A Soft Revolution’, a kinetic ball of energy that will instantly silence any doubters. From there through to the haunting ‘Wild Swans On The Lake’, Vance has the listener in his pocket” Sunday Times Culture Magazine

“Music that’s real and honest by an artist who means what he sings, and that feels like quite a rare thing to be able to do today” The Independent
