Set in a seaside guest house, the play features, amongst others, the prim and proper land-lady, her flirty servant girl Vera, newly weds Stephen and Sally, Mr & Mrs Mansfield, long-term resident Mrs Hartnett and Agnes and Frank who are celebrating their 25th anniversary.

Add to the mix the hilariously camp Victor, Agnes’ old flame Malcolm, and the village’s very own sailor, the local taxi driver and you have on your hands a brilliantly funny interpretation of this renowned play.

Comedies work well for the group who are twenty six years running with three of the founder members involved in acting, casting and direction.

We are also very fortunate to have in the cast our very good friend Frank Twomey of "Santa Ponsa" and Funny Friday fame, Frank has taken some time out of his busy schedule to perform with us.

Our hectic calendar included fifteen shows in our own Glen Theatre in Banteer Co Cork, the proceeds of three shows went to local charities and a sell out show at The Market Place Theatre Armagh.

No strangers to the Everyman this was our third year performing at the "Palace", we started with "Wedding Fever" June 2015,  in January 2016 we ran the John B Keane classic play The Field for two nights and in June 2016 the hysterical comedy "Widows Paradise". On January 14th we played The Chastitute written by John B Keane to a full house.

This will be our second performance at The Civic Theatre Tallaght, early in January The Chastitute played it's debut and Second Honeymoon will play on Sunday 16th July.

Our seasonal schedule is very busy running two plays every year in both Autumn and Spring at the Glen Theatre Banteer. Rehearsals run almost all year round, massive commitment is required from everyone involved directors, cast, the hard working crew of  set designers and builders, the sound and lighting team and everyone back and front of stage.

The Cast is as follows:

Mrs Hartnett - Noreen O Connell
Vera - Sinead Guiney
Mrs Liggett - Margaret Buckley
